With Love...

Valentine's Day is the day of love. Love need not be between two people. Love can also be for family and friends. But, let us consider romantic love.

The heart is a very fragile organ. Love can empower a person, make them vulnerable to those who use and abuse, or it can destroy a person's will with longing when it is unrequited. How do you love? Do you love from afar? Are you truly enraptured? Is your love true? Are you the passionate lover who leaves them wanting more? Do you just love the idea of love, or are you completely obsessed with another person?

I Send My Love To Thee

Picture
Distant Lovers: by Christophe Kiciak
Of breathless Wind and stormy Sea,
Through all, I send my Love to thee.

Through Petal bloom and Autumn death,
My feelings told with lusty breath.

Two ivory Doves glide high in flight,
Pale Moon reveals Desire's light

Deep Passion bids: cruel Darkness part--
Intense Inferno burns My Heart.

These words I speak from lips of mine
Do now await soft kiss of thine.

Of breathless Wind and stormy sea
Through all, I send my Love to thee.

Enchantment

Picture

        His voice was rich
        As winds stirring spirits
        Of ancient whispers
        Deep in time.

        So I fell
        Into his wicked Spell,
        Dripping with the honey
        Sweetness of conceit.

        Ruby essence flowing
        Through the mind

       Coiled about my dreams
        And secret Desires--

Fires burned and raged in battle
        Until to his Passion
        My Heart was bound--
        With steel woven wires.

Sonnet I
(Eternal)
Picture

On wings of angels I do blindly soar

And songs of Heaven lift me up on high

For Love has opened up a gilded door

And happiness has drawn me ever nigh

With promises of pleasant moonlit years

Where age will soften all the rose’s thorns

And bring young laughter to thy worthy ears

From both these hearts will surely have been borne

But when the twilight touch of time has come

There will be many witnesses to see

That for my Soul matched tru
ly only one

To which the bond shall be eternally

An when they open up the final gate

Together shall we go to master Fate.
