When we look at someone, or something, that is not the end of what we see. How we process what we look at is not a mere biological operation. Our brain and all of the mechanics of sight determine the colors we see, the ideas developed about seeing it, and something deeper still determines our perception of that person, or thing, on a philosophical or visceral level. How you react to whatever you see is driven by personal experience and expectation. Will it result in fear or inspiration? That is up to the individual.

And landscape of a gaze
Drawn through the singularity
Deep into the thinker's maze
A form of ocular reasoning
Transforms images inside
Reflecting back a personal view
That within the soul abides.
