A spotlight is placed on African-American heritage and art during Black History Month in the United States of America. I participated in an interview where I answered a few questions to help people understand how African-American artists are inspired to create based on their backgrounds and upbringing. As ever, many artists tend to take their own path.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and resides in the state of Maryland with her family. As the child of a federal police officer and a Speech Pathologist in the public school systems of Washington, D.C. and the outer suburbs of Maryland, she was raised to be fair in her treatment of all people and inquisitive about the world around her.
